1979 Triumph Bonneville T140E

For sale is a 79 Triumph Bonneville 750. This is the “European Style” Bonneville. A more rare numbered bike that was sold in 79. Bought this bike while Purchasing a few bikes from an older gentleman. This bike has been tucked away in the garage for years. After I purchased it I took it into a local motorcycle shop to get it running and clean the fuel system and carburetors. Bike also got a new battery and intake boots. Wires chased down and a fuse replaced. Oil system was flushed and new oil added. And new  spark plugs installed.

Bike has been serviced but will need work to get running smoothly and drivable. So it is being sold as a project bike

As you noticed there are some aftermarket parts installed on the bike, such as the handlebars, brake master cylinder, mirror, and front rim. I do believe i have most of the original parts to be put back on the bike (Please look at the pictures of the spare parts)

Title is signed off from the previous owner. Bike comes with a service manual as well as other service booklets pictured. 

Overall this is a very nice condition survivor bike that needs a little work and cleaning to bring it to the next level. Hope it finds a good home and happy bidding
