 The heat shroud is made from a high temperature rated glass fiber fabric and coated with an aluminized foil external layer for better radiant heat resistant performance.**  It reflects over 90 % of radiant heat and protects from chemical, oil leaks & spills, dirt, road grime and other underhood hazards.**  It is very flexible and easy to bend for a tight fit, and can be trimmed to the desired length.**  Without the need of removing one end of connected wires, cables, and hoses, simply wrap heat shroud around whatever needs protection and closes the edges.**  It is the same as heat sheath but with the added convenience of a hook and loop closure design along the open edges.**  It is commonly used on braided steel, hard metal or soft fluid lines, oil lines, plastic tubing, wire harnesses, air intake or intercooler pipe, etc. Suitable for Anything you want to protect or shield from radiant heat.
