Extremely rare, spectacular, sculptural, structural, architectural "Tensegrity" side / coffee / table BASE for glass plates between 27,56" (70 cm.) and 31,5" (80 cm.), original 1980s, attributed to Theodore Waddell for Cassina, Italy. Chromed metal, steel wires. Solid, high quality workmanship. Very good, undamaged, vintage condition; very stable; with slight traces of age and use (one of the wires could be tightened a bit).
