This daguerreotype features a handsome young man wearing an unusual patterned work shirt and suspenders. This is a fairly late daguerreotype. 

The 1/6 plate is not sealed and the case measures about 3.25 x 3.75 inches. A lot of the dust specks are on the glass. The diagonal scratches above his left hand and to the left of his left shoulder are also on the glass. One hook of the case is missing.
