A unique piece of Italian Art Déco
Very very rare
Oriental male figure
Enamelled polychrome plaster figurine
Made by C.I.A. Manna
It is a Cia Manna model present in specialized catalogs and rarely appeared in international auctions (see last photos)
Designed in the 1940s
This model is present in the catalogs of the "Cia Manna" factory and the preparatory drawings are also known (see last photos)
It is very likely that this figurine is one of the preparatory plasters for the creation of the model
At the beginning of the 1930s, Mrs. Manna, a former decorator at the Turin factory for the production of artistic ceramics "Lenci", opened the factory for the production of artistic ceramics "C.I.A." in Turin. (Italian Artistic Ceramics)
The manufacture's creations draw inspiration from the "Lenci" models and consist, in the majority of cases, of female figurines, genre statuettes and ornaments
Spectacular visual impact
