Nobility Letter 1764 from A E. T. (?) From Seckendorff; An Councilor Helmreich

You are bidding on a small one Letter of nobility from 1764.

Written by one ET{?} by Seckendorff; the shaky writing indicates great age. The first name initials are uncertain in the reading. He mentions in his letter Sugenheim, which was owned by the von Seckendorff family.

addressed to aHofrat Helmreich. This may be what is meant Carer and court councilor Johann Wenzel von Helmreichen zu Brunfeld (* 24. January 1722; † 14. May 1803 in Salzburg)?

Dated(without location information) the 2nd July 1764.

Transcription:“Well-born, highly venereal Mr. Hof-Rath! No matter how sad and saddened the news of the death of my cousin's Field Marchal in Sugenheim, which was kindly given to me, was; So, as I owe it, I would like to express my most obedient thanks to your well-born children, and ask you to take kindly care of my welfare for the few days. The old Latin saying is certainly: Hodie Tibi, gras mihi. Commend me to your wife, Grace, and allow me to call myself, with the greatest respect, your well-born most obedient servant ET v. until the few days of my end. Seckendorff."

Note:The Latin saying is actually "Hodie mihi, cras tibi" and means "today you, tomorrow to me."
