Fender TL-52D Black 1994-95 Electric Guitar

Here for sale we have a Fender TL-52D Electric Guitar from 1994/95 in Black finish. Made in Japan, this bolt-on construction guitar consists of an Alder body, a Maple neck, and a 21-fret Maple fingerboard. Other appointments include a vintage 3-saddle ashtray bridge, vintage-style tuners, a soft "V" profile, and two Fender Japan TL-Vintage single coil pickups. These pickups are wired to a master volume, master tone, and a three-way pickup selector.

The Maple neck plays very well, with a soft "V" profile that feels sprightly and quick in the hand. The vintage frets and 7.25" radius provide a suitably traditional playing experience, well suited to country and blues styles. The rear of the neck has a sort of semi-gloss finish due to the amount it has been used, which is very pleasant to the touch and assists with smooth transitions up and down the neck. The familiar lines of the Telecaster body feel great in the arms, whilst the relatively low 7.15lbs weight assures that this guitar is easy on the shoulders on long gigs.

The 'TL' Vintage pickups offer a traditional Telecaster sound, providing inspiration from the decades of history that come with the shape and sound of the guitar. The neck pickup gives a rich and smooth low end. with the middle position giving a creamy midrange along with an open top end. The bridge pickup gives you that classic Tele twang, with an output hot enough to actually make you shout "Yee-Haw!" out loud. Overall a very versatile guitar with a vintage feel.

Our ID: 102042420741

Weight: 7.15lbs

Serial Number: T021451

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall good condition. Light denting is present to the top side edge which has damaged the finish. A small chip to the finish is present to the front face, treble side on the edge.

Neck: Overall good condition. Scratching and denting is present to the fingerboard and rear of the neck, only visible under direct light from certain angles. This is most noticeable to the treble side of the rear of the neck and can be felt under the finger in playing position.

Body: Overall good condition. Scratching and denting which has broken the finish is present to all surfaces, most noticeably to the front face lower bout. Small cracks to the finish are present to both sides of the neck pocket. These do not flex under pressure, therefore causing no structural concern.

Condition of Frets:

The frets show heavy signs of use, this affects playability as the denting and flattening can be felt under the strings whilst playing. Denting and flattening of the frets is noticeable through the entire register. There is not enough material remaining in the frets for any further fret work.

Current Set Up:

Truss Rod: Maxed out so the neck can't be flattened any more, however relief can be added. No truss rod tool included (flat head driver)

Hardware: Fully functional with light signs of wear.

Structural: No concerns or issues to note.

Strings on Guitar - 10-46

Height of string from 12th Fret- Treble 1.75mm - Bass 2.25mm
