Product Information

The Viton Vacuum pump High temperature seals are specifically designed for the Mini Cooper R-series with N18 engine. The Mini Cooper N18 engine has the vacuum pump fitted to the front pasenger side of the cylinder head. Our Kits feature custom metric Viton seals that can withstand temperatures of up to 350 degrees. These pumps have only a few moving parts and rarely have mechanical fail. Unfortunately due to high temperatures the O.E. factory rubber pump seals are prone to becoming brittle and begin leaking oil. This leak will typically cover the top of the transmission. Rather than purchase a new pump from Mini, this auxiliary vacuum pump seal kit saves you time and money when the cost of a new vacuum pump from the dealer is over £200 !
