Vintage beautiful black evening bag has what looks like a gilded metal top and clasp with what I think is marcasite (polished iron pyrites) decoration. Has a brass chain link handle. Attractively pleated material. Label says British made. Cream lining with pocket. 

Condition good.

From style estimate that the bag dates from 1930s onwards.
