Barbara HAZEL NUT, Style 32511:  this is a beautiful every day French bra, with openwork beige embroidery across the cups, and between the cups.  There is also a band of plain beige mesh with embroidered flowers in ivory with fainter sprays of leaves, this covers the middle top and middle section between the cups.   The beige threads have a satin sheen which contrast with the matte effect of the mesh, plus they are in a paler beige than the mesh.  The front straps are delicate with a wavy band of embroidered mesh with soft waves facing inwards.  A beige organza bow, topped with ivory organza petals is sewn to its middle, and lightly tops the section in between the cups, like a delicate caress. 

THE CUPS:

This underwired, sheer French bra has two sectioned cups with a horizontal, covered seam.  This bra has the cups covered with beige mesh, embroidered in a paler beige, with a pattern of stylised flowers and leaves.    The top and bottom sections of the cups are completely sheer with the pattern of the petals leaving a pretty shape against the top of the bust. To lift the embroidery further there is a plain band of beige mesh with ivory open flowers and delicate sprays of leaves, waving in and out behind the flowers, to connect them and give some movement to the design.   The embroidery continues over the underwires which are picked out with beige stitching.  There is no under band to this bra.  Inside the top section there is a narrow band of flat beige fabric, this helps to keep the embroidered mesh close to the breasts and it also stops the embroidered flowers from curling.

THE BODY OF THE BRA:

The section in between the cups is in fine beige mesh, with the open work embroidery and the conventional embroidery, continuing from the cups, lined inside with sheer beige mesh for added strength, then topped with a fine beige organza ribbon bow, and topped again with an ivory organza flower.   A beige embroidered "BARBARA" logo is sewn under the left hand underwire and this floats over the semi sheer, floral printed elastic fabric which covers the wings and back. 

The wings back and under-arm section of the cups are all edged inside with beige flat elastic with a wavy trim which shows outside the folded in fabric, this has a satin sheen.  The two are secured to each other with large beige zig-zag stitching. The back fastens with three double rows of beige metal hooks and eyes on beige fabric.

THE STRAPS:

The front straps are in flat bands of beige elastic with a folded in band of embroidered mesh sewn to the elastic with large beige zig-zag stitches and the wavy edge of the petals face inwards and leave a pretty pattern over the chest. Over the shoulders they loop through a beige ring.  The back straps are in flat beige elastic with a satin sheen and with a fine ivory satin band running up either side, like two narrow borders.  At the bottom these back straps are sewn inside the printed semi-sheer elastic of the back, and attach to the beige flat elastic inside the top and bottom of the back.  The back straps rise up to loop through the top ring near the shoulder, and adjust downwards via a beige butterfly slider.

The exact material of the bra is made of 57%Polyester, 42%Polyamide, 1%Elastane.   It is a very smart, sheer and gives a great shape under clothes, an elegant bra.  The retail price was £40.00.   New and unused.  This may be machine or hand washed at 40 degrees, no ironing, no bleach, line dry.
