1920's Antique Handmade 14k Yellow Gold 3.85ct Garnet and Diamond Locket Charm Pendant, 13.7 grams

This exquisite, intricately designed handmade 14kt yellow gold garnet and diamond locket pendant is absolutely stunning.

Every part of this beautiful marquise-shaped locket has decorative ornamental designs.

From the twisted rope framing, hand-carved open-faced designs to the gorgeous, hand-carved Florentine finish.

The pendant measures 1.9" long and 1.15' wide and was handmade out of 4 separate parts.

The back of the pendant was hand-cut and hand-polished to a bright finish.

A twisted rope design mounting was hand-cast, and the 2-parts were skillfully hand-soldered together.

The locket portion of the pendant was handmade, and a gorgeous Florentine finish was hand carved on top.

Because of the thick hinge, the locket opens and closes smoothly.

Finally, the 22-natural round-cut Bohemian garnet gemstones were handset into thick prongs, and a 2pt natural-not-enhanced brilliant-cut diamond was bead-set on top.

  The chain in the pictures does not come with the pendant.

This elegant garnet and diamond locket pendant could become a treasured family heirloom.
