A once magnificent musical box offered requiring restoration
This early, six tune box made by PVF and with double comb Sublime Harmonie sound. Though working it sounds terrible until the cylinder is moved fractionally to the left (piece of paper) and then sounds glorious.
Condition as pictured.
Dimensions:
Weighs 11kg before wrapping heavy. Stands 7.5" (19cm) in height, 11.25" (28.5cm) deep and 23.5" (60cm) wide. The cylinder is 13" long and pinning looks okay. The combs are each 6.5" with the bottom comb having 4 damaged teeth and one lost tip, the top comb with all teeth/tips good.
