Up for sale, a 1987 B.C. Rich Warlock in 100% original condition and in perfect working order. Made for the Japanese domestic market as part of the NJ series (short for Nagoya, Japan) and uncommon outside its country of origin, this shred-ready Warlock features a Floyd Rose-licensed tremolo system and high-output proprietary humbuckers. A model that has recently found itself central to the cultural zeitgeist, this Warlock is the perfect tool for ripping Master of Puppets after Hellfire Club, or for taking a spin through Phoebe Bridgers/Boy Genius catalog.

Tonewoods include a maple body and maple neck capped by a rosewood fretboard, ensuring a bright natural acoustic tone with plenty of note attack. The high-output humbuckers are aggressive and cutting, with rounder chunk in the neck position and more bite and growl at the bridge. This Warlock weighs 7lbs 14oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 9-42 strings, slinky action, and accurate intonation.

Cosmetic wear on the gloss Black finish includes chipping at the body points (a very common occurrence on Warlocks), light buckle rash on the back, scuffing on top along the pick path, and a number of minor dings on the body as a whole. The neck profile retains its smooth gloss, with a few shallow marks that have no impact on playability.
