Up for sale, a 2003 B.C. Rich Mockingbird-850 JE (Japan Edition) in near-mint condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original padded gigbag. This upper-tiered Mockingbird was crafted in Korea as part of the (somewhat confusingly-named) Japan Edition series, featuring maple neck-through construction with a bound 24-fret rosewood fretboard and maple body wings.

The pair of BP-201Z/BP-202Z humbuckers are evocative of a classic Seymour Duncan SH-1/SH-4 JB combo, with a PAF-style neck pickup and a hot-rodded, aggressive bridge pickup. The BP-201Z neck humbucker has plenty of warmth and smooth trebles, and the BP-202Z bridge pickup has a punchy growl, responding well to high gain. Weighing 8lbs 8oz, this Mockingbird-850 JE has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The gloss See-Through Red finish highlights the instrument's neck through construction, and the guitar is notably well-kept. Cosmetic wear is limited to a couple light finish scratches central to the back, and very faint scuffing on top along the treble side of the pick path. The gloss on the neck profile is immaculate.

The original B.C. Rich-branded padded gigbag is included.
