A Superb & Scarce Antique Crop Rack for the Equestrian & Country Enthusiast.

I've been collecting for over 44 years & I can't remember seeing one as nice as this one. 

It's an original handmade antique & is definitely not one of the modern

It's extremely attractive & still a very functional, useful item, with a great look.

Thankfully it hasn't been over restored. There's even old paint still present on the real antler handle. I don't know what the silver coloured metal is. The dirt or colour's been left on to allow the two hunting hounds & fox relief stand out. There's two brass hanging brackets. They both have a brass knob on the bottom, I guess to hang other items from. It also has four brass brackets to hang your crops or other items from.

Despite it being a horizontal wall hung item it's still very smooth & tactile. It's had a light waxing & polish & would tidy up more provided it's not over restored as it has a loverly colour & patina.

In expected used condition for an item of this age & nature. I'm my opinion the leather may be newer than the rack itself  however it still looks fine & is not a very recent addition. If I were keeping it I'd replace the woven leather for an older one. There's also a historical break in one piece of the leather on the loop.

A very nice decorative item which would suit a lot of properties. It would also also suit a country house estate.

It's a nice large size at approx 32" not including the leather loop.

Fresh to the market & priced to sell.

I am also selling it's partner separately. It would be fantastic if the new owner could purchase both & keep them together.

I'm afraid the postage is expensive due to the length of the piece.
