A large & heavy Victorian (1899) antique sterling silver vesta case.

Profusely decorated with engraved foliage on the front and back. The front has a vacant cartouche. The engravings are crisp and detailed.

The hinge is spring-loaded with good tension. The lid flicks open and closes firmly with a nice snap sound.

Fully hallmarked on the case rim and the underside of the lid.
