This is a Vintage Mystery Trick Knife 1 Blade Folding Pocketknife Mother of Pearl Look (simulated) USA made, circa 1940's. The Patent numbers are on the tang. The knife looks hardly used, the blade doesn't appear to have been sharpened and it locks shut and opens just as it should. These knives were named Mystery Trick knives in the mid 1940's.
Features:
1. Master Blade front tang has patent numbers.
2. Master blade is approximately 1-3/4" Carbon Steel with some very slight darkening common to carbon steel (see photos).
3. The blade doesn't appear to have been sharpened or used much if at all.
4. 3" overall length closed.
5. Brass side liners.
6. The scales are Mother of Pearl look composites (see photos).
7. There is no blade wiggle in the blade, and it locks closed and opens as it should.
8. No Sheath or box supplied
