An original first editon print of Sir Gerald Kelly's beautiful 'Princess Saw Ohn Nyun' displayed in its original thick wooden and board-backed off white frame with sandy velvet border. A stunning example of 1960s portraiture that is always in fashion and very popular with interior stylists now.

This is a true estate find, tucked away in the attic of an art collector in West Sussex.

Sold as seen with one little water mark, bottom left and the odd tiny finger mark or scuff. Plus a sprinkle of dust. When you stand in front of it against a wall you only notice the water mark. I am pretty sure it would come off with a toothbrush and a mild shoe/suede soap or diluted carpet mousse. I just wanted to sell it as found.

About Sir Gerald Kelly... British portrait painter Sir Gerald Kelly went to Eton and studied art in Paris. Whilst travelling overseas he was inspired to create a series of paintings of Burmese dancers - of which this is one. He became a firm favourite with the royal family and has had his work displayed in the Tate Gallery. His pieces have become very collectable over the last decade and are now very sought after, making this a great investment piece.

The print features fresh vibrant colours and is much admired by all.ehibhave seen her.
