Here for sale we have a G&L Tribute ASAT Deluxe Series in Trans Black finish. Made in Indonesia in 2014, this guitar features a bolt-on neck construction comprising a Mahogany body with a Flame Maple top, Maple neck and 22 Medium Jumbo fret Brazilian Cherry fingerboard. This instrument is equipped with Nickel hardware including G&L Saddle Lock bridge and standard tuning machines. The pickups are a pair of G&L humbuckers, with an G&L AS4250C in the neck position and G&L AW4370C in the bridge. These are wired to a 3-way toggle switch, master volume and master tone controls, with a push/pull coil split function on the tone knob. 

The Maple neck plays very well, with the classic 'C' profile feeling comfortable and articulate in the hand and providing a smooth satin surface that is easy to navigate. The Brazilian Cherry fingerboard is pleasant to the touch, and with its 12" radius, offers a flat and consistent playing experience right the way up the register. This is enhanced by the Medium Jumbo frets which assist with bending and vibrato techniques. The single cutaway design allows for great access to the instruments highest frets, allowing the player to make the most of the entire register, whilst the belly carve body contour ensures comfort on long gigs or practice sessions. 

The duo of G&L humbuckers provide a rich variety of tonal opportunities. The neck position is warm and round, and offers crystal clarity with clean sounds. The G&L AW4370C in the bridge position is bright and snappy, with plenty of the bite required for rock lead tones, offering a harmonically saturated distortion that easily cuts through the mix. The addition of the coil split function on the tone control adds the opportunity for thinner, more traditional Telecaster sounds, cleaning up your sound right on the guitar.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall excellent condition, it is difficult to discern any markings to the headstock.

Neck: Overall excellent condition, it is difficult to discern any markings to the neck and fingerboard.

Body: Overall very good condition, a light crack to the finish is apparent to the bottom edge of the bridge. This should not worsen through regular use. Light scratching is apparent to all aspects of the body visible only under direct lighting at certain angles.

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate very light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
