Pelikan M800 Demonstrator

  • 2008 special edition, released to celebrate Pelikan's 170th anniversary, made of clear resin, with gold-plated trims.

  • A sought-after model, due in part to the internal brass piston housing's cut-out section, which provides a full view of the piston spindle. This is the version with English engravings. Like other M800s of the era, it has the discontinued painted one-chick cap finial and two-chick nib stamp.

  • 18C gold medium nib: smooth, with good ink flow, but somewhat prone to hard starting due to baby's bottom.

  • New old stock condition: apart from the nib, which was tested in a separate pen, it doesn't appear to have ever seen ink. There are faint scuff marks near the section threads due to capping, and some minor imperfections on the surface of the brass piston housing, likely from the time of manufacture.
