This is a pair of antique Art Deco folding chairs made by Louis Rastetter in the 1930s. The chairs are made of wood and metal, with vinyl plastic upholstery in a solid Chinese red color. They are fully assembled and have a seating capacity of one person each. The set includes two chairs and they are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. The chairs are 36.5 inches tall and 17.5 inches wide, with a weight of 8.5 lbs each.



Solid wood, skillfully bent and decorated with paint.


Steel bars and stretchers that are well attached and in solid condition.


The black vinyl upholstered seats are in very good condition.


It smoothly opens and closes, with no wobbling.


The chairs are easy to carry and stack together well.


Minor scratches and wear to the paint (see photos).


Both chairs still have their Louis Rastetter, Fort Wayne Indiana, SOLID KUMFORT designations.
