BLUES BOOKS: Complete Studio Vista set x12 (1970-71) Fahey-Patton, Tommy Johnson
Rare complete set of the historic Studio Vista Blues Paperbacks series, edited by Paul Oliver, published in England by November Books. These are the U.K. first issues, not the Stein & Day U.S. editions.
Size 4⅞ x 7¾ inches. The set comes in a customized blue plastic bin labeled “The Blues.”
All books are intact with all pages readable. Condition varies from “Like New” or close to it (Tommy Johnson, Memphis Blues, Peetie Wheatstraw [except for a crease on the spine], and The Blues Revival), down to “Good,” with some creased and worn covers and corners (Crying for the Carolines, Recording the Blues, Blacks Whites and Blues), with the remaining five in the Very Good category. Some have stickers, sticker residue or small smudges or stains. See photos.
