been enjoyed previously with other locomotives used to cross the western
Canadian mountain ranges and mirror experiments concurrently being
undertaken in the United States. This book chronicles the complete story
of one locomotive from its inception to demise. Highly recommended for
the student of Canadian Pacific operations in the West during the
1930's. Profusely illustrated and supported with a great deal of
technical information. Still, highly readable and insightful over and
above the technical aspects of the locomotive.
