Estate find, the heavy dense fabric looks like it is coated on one side. 

The burn test showed that the fabric is a pure wool or wool blend.

This fabric would be too heavy and stiff for apparel. It is good for home decor (placemats, coasters, rag rugs) and small projects like doll house decor (tablecloth, rugs, upholstery), and in combination with other materials.

The color is a soft pastel orange, cinnamon, and light clay.
