Orginal framed, signed artwork from George Deakins (1911-1981). A retired war artist, Deakins performed most of his work in oil with a palette knife which gives his works an organic, free flowing abstract feel which is very effective.

Offered for sale here is a lovely work depicting boats in a harbour or cove at Sunset with the brilliant use of the red giving that late summers feel.
