An interesting old section of a B25 Bomber Aircraft that I'm told was used in the film Catch 22. It's been sprayed with the words

"Leper Colony". I don't know if that's significant as I haven't watched it.

"The novel's set during WWII, from 1942 to 1944. It mainly follows the life of Antihero Captain John Yossarian, a U.S. Army Air Forces B-25 bombardier. The novel examines the absurdity of war & military life through the experiences of Yossarian & his cohorts, who attempt to maintain their sanity while fulfilling their service requirements so that they may return home. The book was made into a film adaptation in 1970.

It's approx 19" long between its longest points.

In expected used condition for an item of this nature. There's obviously lots of character full corrosion & damage, plus the odd bits of peeling paint. It might further benefit from a little wax.

So whether you want an unusual sign, are military collector or film buff or whether you want to start a Leper Colony. It's a great item or conversation piece.

Please study the images as they also form part of the description & please do your own research.
