This is a rare November 14th, 1943 playbill from the opening week of the Original Broadway production of the obscure ALAN JAY LERNER and FREDERICK LOEWE musical "WHAT'S UP" at the National Theatre in New York City. (The production opened November 11th, 1943 and closed after only 63 performances.) ..... The musical is best remembered as the first collaboration for the songwriting team of ALAN JAY LERNER and FREDERICK LOEWE who would later light up Broadway marquees with "The Day Before Spring", "Brigadoon", "Love Life", "Paint Your Wagon", "My Fair Lady", "Camelot" and "Gigi" .....
