GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

I recently purchased a used bookstore and an adjoining 1820s house in USNY. The previous owner is 98 years old and left numerous belongings behind for his transition to long-term care, including the inventory of the store. This item was found in overstock storage. 

ITEM SPECIFIC DESCRIPTION

Rare paperback book titled "Some Fell Into Good Ground - Sermons preached in the Congregational Churches of North China 1947-1948." Published by the North China Christian Congregational Church. It includes numerous sermons given by Chinese and American preachers. 

Inside text block is clean with minor browning around edges and light corner damage (bottom right) on the front cover and early pages. Some peeling/tearing on the top and bottom of the spine wrap. 

The last photo shows an address slip that was bookmarked within the book when found. These are easily searchable and notable names in theology/christianity/china during the mid-century.

Book will be in a plastic sleeve and shipped in a ridgid cardboard box with additional padding to prevent movement in transit. Shipped via free USPS Ground Advantage,
