Fender American Standard Stratocaster 3-Colour Sunburst 2005 Electric Guitar

Here for sale we have a Fender American Standard Stratocaster Electric Guitar in 3-Colour Sunburst. Made in the USA in 2005, this guitar consists of an Alder body, a Maple neck, and a 2--fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include a two-point synchronized tremolo bridge and staggered Fender sealed tuning machines. The pickups are a trio of American Standard Pickups with Alnico V Flat pole-pieces. These are wired to a 5-way blade switch, master volume, neck tone and middle/bridge tone controls.

The Maple plays well, with a rounded profile that provides a comfortable playing surface and ergonomic thumb positioning. The gloss finish to the rear of the neck assists with smooth transitions up and down the neck,  making it feel easy to navigate the 25.5" scale. The 9.5" fingerboard radius provides a nice balance between vintage feel and modern playability, with comfortable chord playing and practicality for string bending. The familiar Stratocaster control layout keeps things simple whilst offering comprehensive control of your tone.

The trio of American Standard single-coil pickups provide a fairly traditional set of tones, without sounding overly vintage inspired. They work well for a variety of genres, and respond well to overdrive. The neck pickup provides plenty of roundness, whilst brightness increases as you move towards the bridge position. The inclusion of the bridge tone control is a welcome modern addition, giving you full control of the output from all 3 pickups.
