Historical context :


Albert, Prince of Belgium, Duke of Saxony, Prince of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha and heir to the Belgian crown (from 1905 to 1909), then King of the Belgians (from 1909 to 1934), was born in Brussels on April 8, 1875 and died in a climbing accident in Marche-les-Dames on February 17, 1934.

He became the third king of the Belgians on December 23, 1909, under the name Albert I, after the death of his uncle Leopold II.

Cockade in Belgian national colors with gold fastening and button with the coat of arms of King Albert 1st of Belgium : '' A ''. Beige leather interior, black plumage in good condition. Item in superb condition, obviously never worn. With its black box and original black paper. Original box with black lace, a little torn at the lower left corner. A superb piece in very good condition! Virtually impossible to find in this condition and 100% original !
