Description
KORG Delta DL-50:
An interesting vintage analog strings synth!

Description
The Korg Delta (DL-50), released in 1979 during the “Golden Era” of Japanese high-fidelity audio equipment, is a neat analog polyphonic strings synthesizer, similar to the Korg Trident. Although the variety in tones is not so large, the high quality of the sounds, in particular strings and bass tones, makes this synthesizer a great unit. It has a synth section and a strings section, each with its outputs, as well as a combined output. There is also a white noise generator. The two sections can be independently controlled and modulated in various ways, such as pitch balance, lowpass filtering, and ADSR envelopes. The synth also has a joystick for pitch and modulation control. The build quality is rugged and excellent, with this synth being designed for professional use. The Delta has been used by well-known artists such as Flock of Seagulls and The Human League.

This particular unit is in Very good condition, with some signs of age and use throughout, including some scratches, scuffs, rust, peeled paint (please see photos).  Our professional technician has tested this unit and it is working perfectly. All keys, buttons, and lights are working perfectly.
