Here for sale we have an Epiphone Thunderbird Vintage Pro Electric Bass in Tobacco Sunburst finish. Made in Indonesia in 2022, this bass consists of a 7-ply Mahogany/Walnut Laminate thru-neck, Mahogany Body Wings, and a 20-fret Pau Ferro fingerboard. Other appointments include a 1960's TB-Bass Tune-o-matic bridge, and Open-gear Bass Tuners with historic "Clover" buttons. The pickups that are installed are a set of Epiphone ProBucker Bass #760 Humbuckers that are wired to two independent volume controls and a master tone control. 

The '60s Rounded' 7-ply Mahogany/Walnut Laminate neck profile feels incredibly comfortable in the hand whilst playing, especially when fretting with the smooth Pau Ferro fingerboard underneath. The Reverse Offset body shape is comfortable in the arms, and allows for a logical control layout that is easily accessible without being in the way. 

Amplified, the Epiphone ProBucker Bass #760 Humbuckers provide a fantastic fundamental bass tone, with a deep rumbling low end that will fill out any mix. The mid range is warm and adds a distinct character to the tone, whilst the high end frequencies add a nice snappy fast attack. The individual volume controls allow you to blend the neck and bridge pickups in any combination, providing a versatile range of tones suitable for a multitude of musical settings.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall very good condition. Light scratching is present to the front and rear face, only visible under direct light from certain angles. This is most noticeable across the front face. Light scuffing is present to the top side edge.

Neck: Overall good condition. Light denting is present to the fingerboard across the whole register. This is most noticeable across the bass side. Light scratching is present to the rear of the neck, most noticeably to the lower register, only visible under direct light from certain angles. This can not be felt under the fingers in the playing position.The neck/headstock joint has clearly suffered a break that has been repaired to a professional standard and no longer presents any structural concern. 

Body: Overall very good condition. Very light scratching is present to the front face, rear face and lower bout side edge, only visible under direct light from certain angles. This is most noticeable to the treble side of the lower bout side edge.

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate very light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.

Current Set Up:

Truss Rod: Fully functional & adjustable. No truss rod tool included (hex 4mm)

Hardware: Fully functional with light signs of wear. The control knobs have been changed as they were not present when the bass arrived with us.

Structural: No concerns or issues to note.

Height of the string from the 12th Fret-2.5mm - Bass 3mm
