Diecast Model Vehicle
DG28025 - Mack Canvas Back Truck
Days Gone - Toy Fair 1992

Jack Odell, one of the founders of the Matchbox diecast company, founded Lledo (Odell backwards) in 1982, and launched the "Days Gone" range of models in 1983, serving a market previously popularised by the Matchbox "Models of Yesteryear" series.

The Days Gone range celebrates the bygone days of road transport, with trucks, vans and other vehicles, many featuring famous brands and household names of the past and present.

This model depicts a 1934 Mack canvas-back truck, which was introduced into the Days Gone range in 1988, and has appeared in many different liveries. This example was used by Lledo themselves to promote their products at the 1992 Toy Fair, and has the "Days Gone" logo.

Good pre-owned condition in original box. Box has minor wear, a small split in the plastic viewing pane, a mark where a price label was removed, and a crease across the back, but is generally sound, with no serious rips, splits or taped-up corners.  Model itself is clean and very good condition.
