GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

I recently purchased a used bookstore and an adjoining 1820s house in USNY. The previous owner is 98 years old and left numerous belongings behind for his transition to long-term care, including the inventory of the store. This lot was found in overstock storage on the property. Summer/Fall 1972 was purchased separately to help "complete" this collection and is notably more worn than the other issues.

ITEM SPECIFIC DESCRIPTION:

Lot of 47 issues + "1967-1971 Index" of Foxfire Magazine. All are in VG or better. There is some UV fading on the spines and a few issues have minor staining on their covers (I have taken pictures of the front and back of all issues included."

There have been several collections of Foxfire Magazine sold over the years; very few include this quantity of the earliest issues in this condition.

Issues missing:

Volume 1, Issues #1 and #2: These are exceedingly rare and I could only find one 2nd printing of the 1st issue available, and only 2 sold on ebay in the past 10 years (at least according to Worthpoint)

Volume 2, Issue #3&4 (combined double issue).

Issues included:

All issues from Volume 1, #3 (December 1967) to Volume 15, #1 (Spring 1981) besides the 3 mentioned above. In total, this is 47 issues + the index for 1967-1971.

Two issues photographed include folded inserts, also included:

Spring 1972: Plans for a cabin, double sided.

Fall 1974: Plans for a banjo, double sided.

SHIPPING:

Magazines will be packed in a large cellophane sleeve, stacked, surrounded by extra padding and enclosed in a rigid cardboard box with all seams sealed with packing tape. Shipping is via free USPS Media Mail or USPS Ground Advantage for a flat-rate added cost.
