Magnificent antique African Elephant Sculpture, Trunk Raised.  Minor bruise to one ear ( see photo) otherwise no damage.  Extremely heavy. A bit of a mystery to me, my strong magnet has only a  minor reaction in a couple spots on the elephant, particularly around the trunk, otherwise nothing. Probably clay with a metal skin and some type of iron armature. Not clear to me. Best guess 1920s-30s. Came from a wealthy collector,  part of his overflow.  Beautiful.  And HEAVY (17"L, 13 1/2" H, 6 1/2"W) 17 ILBS 7 OZ
