You are bidding on one curious correspondence (1965-1968) between one Amateur meteorologists and the daily newspaper “Südost-Tagespost” (Graz), which publishes some of his articles (enclosed).


The private scholar (private meteorologist) Egon S. from Graz worked professionally as a mechanic and, over years of private research, put forward a theory of how storms can be predicted for years to come (!) by taking the sun, moon and planets into account and also the weather longer time. With the results of his research, in which no one else was involved, he turned to research institutes, ministries, the press and publishers, but without success. However, there was an exchange of letters with some researchers and politicians; The Graz daily newspaper “Süd-Ost-Tagespost” even published some of his articles in 1968.
