Transcription:"Dear Mr. Privy Councilor! I would like to present a certain number of photographs for the albums of the members of the K. Justice Commission. At the same time, I ask that you attach your portrait to the copy intended for me and exchange one of my pictures for it. I would like to thank you most sincerely for the delivery of the Commission's proceedings and the effort put into putting them in order. With the utmost respect, Yours. Highly born, most devoted v. Forcade de Biaix."

Christoph Ernst Friedrich from Forcade de Biaix (*17. September 1821 in Paderborn; † 18. July 1891 at Reckenberg Castle) was a manor owner, judge at the Imperial Court and a member of the German Reichstag.

Life:Forcade de Biaix attended high school in Soest and studied law at the universities in Bonn, Göttingen and Berlin. In 1844 he entered the judicial service and became a district judge in Bochum in 1855, an appeal judge in Hamm in 1865 and a senior tribunal councilor in Berlin in 1873. On the 1st In October 1879 he was appointed to the Fifth Civil Senate of the Reich Court, of which he remained a member until he retired in 1890.

From 1874 to 1877 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the center and the Düsseldorf administrative district 5 (Essen) constituency. In 1877 he moved up in a by-election on January 24th. November 1877 in the Trier 1 constituency (Daun, Prüm, Bitburg) for MP Ferdinand von Hompesch-Bollheim. After he had won the constituency in 1878, he resigned his mandate on the 14th after his appeal to the Imperial Court. October 1879.
