This is the original rare, vintage and hard-to-find 2005 “Party Like It’s 1959” Chicago Tribune printing press plate used to print the newspaper when the Chicago White Sox became American League Champions! The date of print is Monday, October 17, 2005 and it was used to print the front page of the Tribune that day to celebrate the South Side Sox getting into the World Series for the first time since 1959. Measures approximately 23” x 12” in size and is made of an extremely thin sheet of metal. It’s in phenomenal shape, having been kept flat in a climate controlled storage unit for many years, without bends, creases or dents.
