This item is a 35" right-handed wide flanged sole putter. Made by Wilson and it is their classic 8802. This putter is from the 1960's and is all original. Face is the depth of a nickel, and the top line is slightly rounded and not flat. The top line is the wide fat one you find on the old Wilson 8802 putters and not the thin one you find on the reproductions from the 1980's and 90's. The head is clean and does have the expected play nicks and dings. A prior owner has stripped the chrome off part of the top line in order to reduce the glare that shiny chrome can create in bright sunlight. Please look at the many zoom pictures to get a better idea of condition. The shaft is an original Wilson Head Speed from the 1960's. 6" first step with five subsequent 3 1/4" steps visible below the grip. Head Speed shaft band present. Note the finished length of the putter is 35". All of the 1960's Wilson 8802 and Designed by Palmer putters from the 60's were 35" length. You will see some sellers on eBay claiming that their 8802/Palmer putters from the 60's are all original even though the length (with original grip installed) is over 35". These have a replaced shaft at a minimum and sometimes people have put old shafts on newer 8802's in order to claim they are old ones. The grip on this one is the original flat front black leather wrap with silver piping. The grip is dry after 60 years but is in good vintage condition. The butt cap is intact, and you can clearly see the flags/musical notes emblem. A nice example except for the chrome removed from the top line.

Shipping in the US is calculated and based on a 3-pound box. This item shipped UPS Ground. For those of you that never ship but only receive items, the further you are from me in NC the more shipping will be. That is the way the carriers charge. On top of that, eBay and takes almost 15% of what I receive for shipping (out of $10 I receive $8.50) and I would like to break even. eBay collects sales tax for many states. They charge me 15% for that service and I never see that money.
