Barbara CISSI, a hipster, mid rise, double string sided thong,  Style 53631:  In warm colours of orange outlined with pink, tangerine stems and leaves and pale blue embroidered lace pattern.  These flowers are beautifully embroidered and the flowers face downwards so the wearer can appreciate them when looking down when wearing them.  The gusset has a panel of the pale blue picture frame pattern on, with a single flower in the middle.  The back of this thong is as beautiful, but more subtle, as the front with its three tiers of waves, narrowing as it flows down the back of the thong stem, embroidered around the edges in pale blue with a lace effect with tight petal-like waves.   The feel of the elasticated mesh is smooth and soft.  These are a mid rise thong but my mannequin is very smooth so they would not look like hipster thongs, they may be worn higher or lower depending on the wearer's preference.  They are professionally photographed on a model in the blue CISSI colourway.

THE FRONT AND BACK PANELS:

The front panel has a central vertical seam with the flowers facing downwards and a pale blue embroidered lace pattern down the outside of the leg sides with tight petal shapes against the skin. This goes down to the front gusset seam.

The back panel also has a central vertical seam with its large waves, reducing in width, as it falls, the outside edges have the pale blue lace effect embroidery, with its tight petals edged in blue against the skin. This stops at the back gusset seam.   Both the front and back panels are unlined.  A separate panel of the orange embroidered mesh with the picture frame pattern enclosing a single flower, covers the outside of the gusset which is lined inside with pale orange Jersey cotton.

THE WAISTBAND

The waistband at the back and front have the embroidered mesh turned in narrowly, and this is edged around the outside with a narrow band of pale orange fine elastic with a satin sheen, sewn to the front and back with a double row of machine stitching.  As the mesh is stretchy, so is the waist band plus it has a smart, clear edge.  A silver lucky shoe charm is sewn to the centre back of the pale orange waistband.

THE STRING SIDES

The top string side is a continuation of the waistband with its narrow, fine pale orange elastic.  A second strand is sewn inside the top corners of the front and back panels and runs around the hip sides, just below the top strand.  This elastic is fine with a satin sheen.

THE LEG AND GUSSET SIDES

The outer edges of the front and back leg sides have the embroidered mesh oversewn with pale blue stitching so that the edges are light and delicate, almost floaty, depending on the shape of the wearer.   The panel over the gusset has the fabric folded in and this is held in place by the pale orange Jersey cotton lining, so that the edges at the sides are smooth.

The exact material is made of 40%Polyamide, 36%Polyester, 9%Cotton, 8%Elastane, 7%Viscosa.   It is an exciting, colourful and beautiful thong.    The retail price was £25.00.   New and unused.  This may be machine or hand washed at 40 degrees, no ironing, no bleach, line dry.
