This is an exceptional Pair of Vintage Portrait Carvings, which appear to be Architectural Salvage or Furniture Fragments. This Male and Female couple are each carved of Oak, with a super rich, naturally aged and rubbed patina. Each stands on it's own, though a base may be needed for stability. Or you can attach a hanger and use them as wall decor.

Each is in excellent vintage condition, ***with Definite signs of age and wear, including small nicks,, though certainly nothing distracting. He is missing the tip of his nose. Please Zoom the photos too appreciate all the details, as well as to best understand overall condition.
