Original, full-page advertisement,
carefully removed from contemporary Motor Cycle magazines (and as such
will usually have unrelated printing on the reverse), published in the
year stated, and approx. 10" x 7" (250mm x 180mm) in size when joined.
**** This
advert was one of several salvaged from a load of old Car and Motor
Cycle magazines rescued from a damp garage, where they had languished
for many years! As such, some are
not in pristine condition, especially with rust stains and/or holes
from the staples. However, because of the great artwork used in ads from
this period, they are still of great interest, and their condition is reflected in the price of these scarce items!! **** THESE
ARE VERY OLD PAPER ITEMS, THAT MAY HAVE BEEN TRIMMED AND/OR REPAIRED,
AND HAVE SLIGHT IMPERFECTIONS DUE TO THEIR AGE (ALTHOUGH I DO TRY TO
DESCRIBE ANY MORE OBVIOUS FAULTS NOTED). THESE ARE ORIGINAL PRINTS FROM
PUBLISHED ITEMS OF THE DATE SHOWN BUT THEY ARE NOT THE ILLUSTRATOR'S
ORIGINAL ARTWORK!! SOURCED AS THEY ARE, FROM MAGAZINES, THEY WILL
USUALLY HAVE PRINTING ON THE REVERSE (OFTEN OTHER GREAT PERIOD
ADVERTS!).
