Some poems are also referred to as "Chansonette" and "Chanson" (twice specifying the melody of which song it should be sung).

Scope:

-19 written pages with poems by 1906-1916

-two 1-page prose texts (or letter copies) to "ma Jeanette" from 1958 - enclosed sheet (22.5 x 17 cm) with a poem (dated Épernay, February 27, 1919).

At the very end, several sheets were cut out that probably contained school notes (6 pages on geometry are still available).

Format: 17.2 x 11 x 0.9 cm.

The poems are not consistently written down chronologically.

The poems are dated, signed and given a location at the end.

-1906 and 1909: Castelsarrasin

-1913: Levallois & St Georges

-1914 Méry-sur-Seine

-1916: Verdun, en Champagne

-1919: Épernay (loose sheet).

-1958: Agen

Condition: cover stained and rubbed; Binding loosened, pages more browned and stained. Please also note the pictures at the end of the item description!
