Here for sale we have an Ibanez AS53 semi-hollow electric guitar in Transparent Black Flat finish. Made in Indonesia in 2020, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising Laminated Sapele  body, Nyatoh neck and 22 fret Walnut fingerboard. This guitar is fitted with Chrome hardware including an Ibanez ART-ST Bridge, Full Tune III tailpiece and sealed tuning machines. A pair of Ibanez Infinity R humbucking pickups are installed, and are wired to a 3-way toggle switch, master volume and master tone controls. 

The Nyatoh neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the ‘AS Artcore’ profile feeling nicely slim and allowing for fast and easy navigation of the 24.75" scale. The Walnut fingerboard provides a smooth and durable playing surface, with its 10" radius allowing for bending and vibrato techniques. The double cutaway body design allows unobstructed access to the higher register, great for those fast lead lines. The compact size of the body makes it easier to play for extended periods of time compared to larger semi-hollow guitars but not diminishing from the overall tone.

The semi-hollow body design provides a warm, natural resonance that adds depth and dimension to the guitar's tone. The centre block helps to reduce any unwanted feedback and resonance, resulting in a more defined sound. The Ibanez Infinity R humbuckers provide a warm, full-bodied tone with a balanced frequency response. They offer a rich, clear sound that is well-suited for a wide range of musical styles and handle distortion really well, providing a huge array of tones that are suitable for a wide range of musical styles and genres.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall excellent condition, very light indentation is apparent to the top front edge, difficult to discern against the finish.

Neck: Overall excellent condition, it is difficult to discern any markings to the neck or fingerboard.

Body: Overall excellent condition, very light scratching is apparent to the front face when viewed under direct light, most notably beside the treble side F hole. Any other markings to the body are difficult to discern. 

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate minimal signs of use. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.

Current Set Up:

Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included.

Hardware: Excellent condition.

Structural: No concerns or issues to note.

Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
