 Epiphone EJ200CE Gloss Natural 2015 Electro- Acoustic Guitar

Here for sale we have an Epiphone EJ200CE in Gloss Natural finish. Made in Indonesia in 2015, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Solid Spruce top, Select Maple back and sides, Maple neck and 20 fret Rosewood fingerboard with matching Moustache bridge. This instrument is fitted with Grover Rotomatic tuning machines, along with a Shadow NanoFLEX undersaddle pickup and NanoMAG pickup. These are wired to an E-Sonic 2 preamp with controls for volume, Flex EQ & Mag EQ, blend slider, phase switch and on-board tuner. 

The Maple neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the 1960's SlimTaper D profile that feels slender in the hand whilst retaining the sturdy and robust character you would expect from an Epiphone. The 12" radius lends itself well to chordal playing, whilst remaining practical for fingerstyle in any register, whilst the Rosewood fingerboard provides a smooth playing surface under the fingers. The Jumbo body shape with cutaway feels great in the arms, and provides a comfortable playing experience in both standing and seated positions whilst ensuring unobstructed access to the higher frets.

The voice of this instrument is rich and well-defined, with a warm yet precise low end, focussed midrange and bright high frequencies. The Solid Spruce top projects well and provides a wide dynamic range that feels sensitive to the player's touch. Playing gently will give you the warm mellow tones needed for those quiet moments, whereas putting some snap and power behind your right hand rewards you with the powerful booming tones this guitar is capable of.

Aesthetic Condition:

Overall very good condition. Light scratching is present to the front and rear face, only visible under direct light from certain angles. This is most noticeable to the treble side of the front face. Light denting is present to the rear face, only visible under direct light from certain angles. This is most noticeable to the top of the rear face.

Overall good condition. Light denting is present to the fingerboard, only visible under direct light from certain angles. This is most noticeable across the 9th fret and can not be felt under the finger in playing position. Cracks to the binding and finish are present to either side of the neck joint. Upon closer inspection, this crack does not flex under pressure, which means it does not go into the wood, and therefore causes no structural concern. 

Overall very good condition. Very light scratching and denting is present to all surfaces of the body, only visible under direct light from certain angles. This is most noticeable to the front face lower bout. Similar cracking to the neck joint is present to the centre of the lower bout side edge, where the binding goes through the strap button. This also doesn't go into the wood, causing no structural concern. A small chip to the finish is present to the binding of the front face lower bout, treble side.

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate very light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
