Item Description:
You are bidding on a Professionally Graded 1923-24 V128-1 Paulin's #13 DADDY DALMAN Stamped SGC 1.5 PORT ARTHUR SET BREAK . As of 7/18/23 I am listing a complete set of 1923-24 Paulin's Candies Hockey Cards! I hope you enjoy viewing this set as much as I have enjoyed owning it. A lot of the stamp redemptions in this set are in phenomenal shape for the grade. It is my understanding that the stamp on the back is an acceptable means of redemption for the card, and therefore should not effect the technical grade (in other words, it should grade however it would grade without the stamp, and then be labeled as "stamp redemption"). I may be wrong in this, and SGC certainly did not view it this way as they were harsh on anything with a stamp on the back. In most cases it seems like the cards with stamps on them could have been graded higher. Thanks for looking and good luck!

About the Set:
V128 Paulin's Candies cards were used to market and either included with packages of candy or redeemed from the Paulin Chambers candy company. The set features 70 cards in black and white and measuring 1.375 x 2.75 inches.  Cards from this set can be difficult to find in mid-grade condition, and are very rare to find in high grade condition.  Many cards have either a stamp redemption or hole punch redemption.  There does not seem to be a great difference in value between cards without a stamp or hole punch and cards with a stamp or hole punch.  Hall of Famers from this set include George Hainsworth, Newsy Lalonde, Red Dutton, George Hay, Dick Irvin, Bill Cook, Rusty Crawford, Phat Wilson, Joe Simpson, Herb Gardiner, Harry Oliver, Duke Keats, and Barney Stanley.
