About Our Comic Books:
We can NOT guarantee a grade for any raw book. Subjectivity, even among the major 3rd-party grading services, makes accurate predictions extremely difficult, particularly in the higher quality grading tiers (Very Fine/Near Mint and above).
We CAN Guarantee all Raw Books were acquired at or very near the time of original publication unless otherwise noted. All raw books were acid-free bagged and boarded at time of acquisition, and were stored properly in acid-free short boxes in a smoke-free temperature controlled environment. You will always receive the book pictured & described in the eBay ad.
Raw books were originally acquired in the time before 3rd-party grading and signature authentication. Some of our raw books have unauthenticated signatures, gathered at various Comicons & events.
We are 100% confident any signature noted can stand up to main-stream 3rd-party validation.
Graded Books were also acquired as raw books (same as above) and sent out for grading & encapsulation (slabs) to CGC or CBCS. Slabs we sell do NOT have cracks or chips. Very light/small blemishes may be present, which can happen during 3rd-party grading service production & handling. Newton rings are also possible, though currently none are noted/documented. All are an accepted and normal part of the process & current technology for which we are not responsible.

Our prices are very competitive. They are not based on ‘perfect’ examples. We take into account current Fair Market Value (FMV), scarcity, condition, and desirability. We also take into account possible future additional costs customers may incur pursuing grading, signing, etc. after buying from us, and evaluate accordingly.
