This is a rare and highly sought-after book from acclaimed author J.R.R. Tolkien. It was printed in 1967 as a third printing of the First British Edition and features a beautiful hardcover with black and white illustrations by Pauline Baynes. The book has 61 numbered pages and 62 total pages with text, making it a small format book measuring approximately 6" x 4".
The book is in very good+ condition and was issued without a dust jacket. While there are some light bumping and wear on the ends and corners of the book covers, it is still in excellent shape and is a true gem for any collector. This book is a great addition to any Science Fiction and Fantasy collection and is sure to be treasured for years to come.
