2 Vintage Osborne Computers. The Osborne 1 did not turn on 6 years ago. The Osborne Executive was turned on 4 years ago and displayed the splash screen but no software was available to run at the time. Multiple 5 1/4 " discs now come with this auction. All of them are untested. The discs purport to contain both software and data but your mileage may vary.

I bought these two vintage computers because I didn't want the other guy to have a chance. Unfortunately, the computers have had no chance with me as I have not had the time or inclination needed to restore them to pristine working order. 

If you are looking at this listing and have read this far you are, no doubt, keenly interested in vintage computing and you know the drill with computers of this age. They will require tinkering and repair. It may be a long and winding road to get them running but if is easy it is not worth doing, right?

Their time with me is over. I will not be doing anymore testing or tinkering. (not that I have done much with these other than wipe them down and plug them in).

Both the handles are intact and serviceable. They also come with many manuals as shown in the pictures.

If possible I want these to go to someone who values them as I did and can do them justice.

I have shown no shipping options because the best option given the weight and fragility of the machines (luggability not withstanding), is to collect in person from Portsmouth UK. However, I am more than willing to discuss shipping with the winning bidder (at cost) if that is their preferred option. This would probably be in the form of 3 separate packages.
