This is an antique Dutch Delft blue tile made of clay, hand-painted with a soldier holding a musket. The tile is from the Georgian era (1714-1837) and was produced in the Netherlands between 1750-1799. It measures 5" in length and width, with a thickness of 1/4". The tile is decorated with polychrome colors of blue on white. It weighs 9 oz and is a handmade piece of decorative pottery.
